JPG to PDF
Combine JPG, PNG and WebP images into a single PDF with one page per image.
To convert JPG to PDF, drop your images onto Kilnfile's JPG to PDF tool, choose a page size and orientation, then click Make PDF; the PDF is assembled in your browser and never uploaded. Each image becomes one page, in the order shown. JPG, PNG and WebP are accepted, and A4, US Letter or fit-to-image page sizes are available.
How do I convert JPG images to a PDF?
- Drop one or more JPG, PNG or WebP images onto the drop zone, or click it to choose them.
- Use the up and down arrows to put the images in the order you want the pages.
- Under Page size, choose Fit page to each image, A4 or US Letter.
- Set Orientation to Match each image, Portrait or Landscape, and adjust the Margin in millimetres.
- Click Make PDF.
- Download the finished PDF and open it to check the page order.
JPG to PDF places each image on its own page of a new PDF using pdf-lib in your browser. JPG files are embedded as they are, without being re-compressed, so the picture quality in the PDF is identical to the original file. PNG and WebP images are embedded with their pixels intact; if a PNG has a transparent background it sits on white. The PDF is written with the images in the order shown in the file list.
Page size is the main decision. Fit page to each image makes the page exactly the size of the picture, which is right for screenshots, scans or artwork you want to view on a screen. A4, at 210 × 297 mm, is the standard for printing in the UK and most of the world; US Letter, at 216 × 279 mm, suits documents going to North America. With a fixed page size the image is scaled to fit inside the margins while keeping its proportions, so a tall phone photo on an A4 page gets white space at the sides. Match each image chooses portrait or landscape per page based on the picture; force Portrait or Landscape when you need every page the same way up.
Margin sets the white border in millimetres, from 0 to 50; 10 mm is a comfortable default for printing and 0 works well for scans you want edge to edge. File size is roughly the sum of the images, so twenty 4 MB phone photos give an 80 MB PDF. If that is too big to email, shrink the photos with Compress JPG first or run the result through Compress PDF. There is no limit on the number of images beyond device memory.
Nothing is uploaded. The images stay in your browser tab, the PDF is built there and saved to your device, and Kilnfile stores nothing. That makes it safe for passport scans, ID photos and receipts. The tool is free, needs no account and adds no watermark. HEIC photos from an iPhone are not accepted directly; convert them with HEIC to JPG first.
How it works: this tool uses pdf-lib and PDF.js (Mozilla), open-source libraries loaded into your browser. No server is involved, so Kilnfile never sees your file. Last reviewed 20 September 2026.
Frequently asked questions
Can I combine several photos into one PDF?
Yes. Add as many images as you like and each becomes one page in the order shown. Use the arrows in the file list to reorder them before clicking Make PDF.
Should I use A4 or Fit page to each image?
Use A4 (210 × 297 mm) if the PDF will be printed or filed with other documents. Use Fit page to each image for screenshots or artwork that will only be viewed on screen, since it avoids white borders.
Does converting reduce the photo quality?
No. JPGs are embedded byte for byte and PNG and WebP keep all their pixels. The image in the PDF is exactly as sharp as the file you added.
Can I convert HEIC or PNG files?
PNG and WebP work directly. HEIC from iPhones is not accepted; run it through the HEIC to JPG tool first and then add the JPGs here.
Are my photos sent to a server?
No. The PDF is built entirely in your browser with pdf-lib, and nothing is uploaded or stored.
